The Super Trackstick has a built-in vibration detector that can sense when the it is moving. When the Trackstick is set to the ON position, the vibration detector will power off the device if it senses no movement, and power on again when movement is resumed.

What are the sensitivity adjustments on the Trackstick?
In order to save power, the Trackstick’s sensitivity can be adjusted.
You can increase sensitivity to more accurately record the location histories of more confined moving objects such as children, but also increase memory usage
and mapped locations in the same area, causing a multi-dotted effect in
one apparent location.
GPS Wobble: The Trackstick senses motion by comparing its current location to its last known location. If the Trackstick has moved greater than the selected boundary, a new location history will be recorded. Increasing this radius will cause less location histories to be recorded while the Trackstick is in motion.
How do I map all the Trackstick locations?
Once Google Earth is installed, hit the "Export to Google Earth" button at the top of the screen. "Pushpins" can show each location visited by the Trackstick, "Fly-Through" will showed the traveled routes and locations.
